I learned knitting from a book when I was homeschooling my kids, and then a few years later I learned crochet from a friend. I’m really, really enjoying these crafts, and others that I do, occasionally, like beading, scrapbooking, and pottery. Artistic, creative outlets are a good and necessary thing. Like air.
I’m also learning gardening in my ample yard, and enjoying the fruits of those labors.
My family and I are working on green practices for, in, & around our beloved Victorian cottage. Growing our own food and making our own clothes is a great way to live gently on the Earth! DIY, sustainability/community-minded people are what’s going to save the world!
This blog is dedicated to these brave folks and their work of spreading the cooperative, sustainable fun!
